Description
Vintage Wilson-Jones “Marvel” No. 135 two-hole desktop paper punch, manufactured in Chicago, Illinois, USA. This substantial office tool features a heavy cast-metal body, olive-green painted finish, steel punching mechanism, spoon-shaped hand lever and removable underside paper-chip tray.
Embossed markings include “Marvel,” “Wilson-Jones Co. Chicago,” “Patented,” “Made in U.S.A.” and “Oil Occasionally.” Estimated to date from approximately the 1930s–1950s, although the exact production year could not be confirmed.
Measures approximately 5¼ inches long, 4¼ inches wide and roughly 2¼ inches high when closed. The two punches appear to have standard approximately 2¾-inch spacing.
Displays substantial authentic age and use wear, including chipped and missing paint, oxidation, scratches, discoloration and label residue. Sold as photographed.
