Vintage Pleasant Company Samantha steamer trunk from the original American Girl collection, a substantial wardrobe/storage piece designed for Samantha Parkington and her clothing. This early Pleasant Company trunk features a fabric-covered exterior with decorative trim and brass-tone hardware, along with a burgundy patterned interior with three removable drawers, shelving and a ribbon tie in the doll compartment. It remains an attractive display piece but has age-related wear and is not complete with all of the accessories originally sold with the trunk.
