Description
Unusual vintage Christmas decoration featuring a whimsical orange chenille elf or pixie perched atop a large silvered glass ball ornament. The elf has a hand-painted face, white fuzzy beard and hair, orange pointed hat and black feet. The original metal ornament cap and wire loop remain visible behind the figure.
The glass ball is mounted on a round cardboard base and the entire piece measures approximately 4-1/4" tall. Vintage condition with substantial age-related spotting, oxidation and finish deterioration to the glass, wear and discoloration to the chenille figure, and heavy scratching, tape and surface wear to the underside of the base. No obvious cracks or breaks noted in the glass. Please review photos closely.
