Description
Lot of 3 unusual vintage glass Christmas ornaments featuring round silvered glass bodies with decorative closed glass finials projecting from the opposite end of the hanging neck. Two retain vivid pink/red finish, while the third has an aged silver finish with remnants of pink decoration. Each has a simple wire hanging loop.
All three show substantial authentic age-related wear including scratches, spotting, oxidation, discoloration, crazing and considerable finish/silvering loss. Wear is particularly heavy on one pink ornament. Estimated circa 1930–1950 based on construction and materials; exact maker and country of origin are unknown.
