Vintage German glass Christmas ornament in a dimensional molded pinecone shape, measuring approximately 3" long. The metal cap is marked Germany. This beautiful old ornament features silvered glass with raised diamond-scale detailing and remnants of white mica/glitter decoration.
It shows substantial authentic age-related wear, including heavy loss and deterioration of the white decoration, silvering loss, spotting, scratches, discoloration and oxidation to the metal cap. Small remnants of red coloring are also visible. Wonderful timeworn character for a vintage Christmas collection, German ornament collection or old-fashioned holiday display.
