Description
Vintage circa 1972–1975 black-and-white promotional portrait of Minnesota Twins infielder Danny Thompson. Thompson’s name, position, and team are printed along the lower border. A blue facsimile signature appears across his uniform.
Thompson played for the Twins from 1970 until June 1976. He earned Minnesota’s Most Improved Award in 1972 and the Hutch Award in 1974. He died in December 1976 at only 29 years old after battling leukemia.
This is believed to be a team-issued promotional photograph with a printed facsimile signature, not a separately authenticated hand-signed autograph.
Vintage condition with age toning, slight curling, edge and corner wear, surface marks, scattered spotting, and a tack or pushpin hole near the upper center. The blank reverse has light discoloration. Please review all photographs carefully. Display stand is not included. You will receive the exact photograph shown.
