Description
Set of 3 vintage blown glass Christmas ornaments in aged gold, silver and amber-toned finishes. Each ornament is formed from a single piece of glass with one open neck. Rather than using a conventional metal cap, each has a bent wire hanger inserted directly into the glass opening and shaped to remain secured inside. The opposite end is a closed molded glass projection, not a second opening. All three show substantial age-related finish loss, oxidation, spotting, crazing and patina, giving them a wonderful timeworn appearance. Maker, exact age and country of origin are unknown.
