Vintage 1950s NOMA Lites Cat. No. 3005-SF 7-light Christmas set with original illustrated box and cardboard insert. This weatherproof indoor/outdoor set features multicolor bulbs, red and green wiring, and individual-burning lamp sockets.
The surviving light string is exceptionally clean for its age. The red and green wire insulation retains strong color with remarkably little visible abrasion, grime, cracking, or weathering, while the sockets and bulbs also show minimal apparent handling wear. Previous usage history is unknown, and the set is not represented as unused.
The original male NOMA fused Safety Plug is missing, leaving the two power conductors unterminated; how or when the plug became separated from the set is unknown. The female receptacle remains present. Because the male power plug is missing, the set has not been tested and is sold as-is for collecting, display, restoration, or parts.
