Beautiful vintage Giesswein Tirol cardigan jacket handcrafted in Austria from premium Pure New Wool. This whimsical scenic design features layered mountain landscapes with appliqué sheep, mushrooms, flowers, trees, and a charming Alpine girl on the front, continuing onto the back for a true storybook look. A wonderful collectible Austrian folk piece that also fits perfectly into cottagecore and art-to-wear wardrobes.
The cardigan is clean and presents very well overall. One decorative accent attached to the appliqué figure has an irregular edge as shown in the photos and remains securely attached. There is one small surface snag/thin spot on the front pink panel that does not extend completely through the fabric. An extra replacement button remains sewn inside the cuff.
