Description
Early vintage Christopher Radko blown-glass strawberry Christmas ornament, marked WF-31 / W. Germany on the original gold crown cap. This appears to be an early German-production Radko ornament predating the later Radko-marked crowns.
• Original crown cap marked WF-31 and W. Germany
• Mouth-blown molded glass strawberry
• Brilliant metallic red berry with dimensional seed texture
• Metallic turquoise-blue/green molded leaves
• Original metal hanging loop present
• Small glass drop at bottom
• Visible age-related paint/finish loss, particularly along edges of leaves
• Additional scattered finish wear and small losses on berry
• No cracks or major glass chips observed
A particularly interesting early Radko fruit ornament with its original numbered West German crown.
