Description
This antique stoneware snuff jar dates back to the early 20th century and features a unique relief of a man sniffing snuff on one side. Glazed in warm brown tones, it has an impressed "2" and stands 7.5 inches tall. Though the lid is missing, it remains a striking piece of utilitarian folk art and a great collectible for apothecary, tobacciana, or early Americana enthusiasts.
