Description
Antique Jefferson Glass Company footed compote in the Pearls & Scales pattern, dating to approximately 1906. This striking Early American Pattern Glass piece features transparent aqua-blue glass transitioning to a milky blue opalescent body, with the distinctive molded pearl and overlapping scale design. The ruffled rim is accented with original cranberry frit decoration, creating a beautiful pink-red contrast against the blue glass. Raised on a matching blue pedestal foot. Approximately 7 inches across. Pre-owned antique condition with normal manufacturing characteristics and wear consistent with age. Cranberry frit coverage is naturally irregular with areas of loss.
