Description
Charming 14-inch antique China Head doll, dating to the late 19th century. She features a black molded hair china head marked “OK,” and a cloth body marked “DV 15.” The doll wears her original 1880s clothing — a patterned beige cotton gown, lace-trimmed slip, and undergarments — with delicate lace bonnet tied in a blue ribbon.
She retains her original body and limbs, all china arms and legs with painted black heeled boots. The doll’s surface shows minimal age wear for its era, and the clothing remains intact with expected toning and minor age spots. A well-preserved example that displays beautifully.
