Beautiful 1995 M.I. Hummel “Strike Up the Band,” HUM 668, from Goebel’s Century Collection. Also titled “Viel Glück,” this large hand-painted porcelain group depicts four bundled children performing with a violin, two horns and sheet music on a snowy cobblestone base.
Marked Goebel Germany, 1995 Century Collection, HUM 668 and 1993 on the underside. Approximately 7½ inches tall. Includes the original illustrated Goebel box, molded protective packing, control slip and accompanying literature shown.
The figurine is in excellent preowned condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs were observed during photographic inspection. The box remains intact and in good vintage condition with light surface, edge and corner wear. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition and included materials.
