Description
Vintage 1930s miniature molded glass Christmas ornament in a charming basket shape with raised woven detailing. This example has a vivid deep pink to fuchsia finish over silvered glass and retains its wire hanging loop. Measures approximately 1 1/2 inches tall and about 1 1/4 inches wide.
The ornament shows extensive age-related crazing, finish and silvering loss, flaking, spotting, discoloration and surface wear, while retaining strong reflective pink color and clearly visible molded basket details. The glass neck and wire hanger remain present; the wire shows oxidation. No obvious major cracks or breaks noted in the glass. Extremely delicate vintage ornament. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
